From the Chamber President:

I am always inspired by the weekly challenges and experiences that come our way here at the Chamber/Visitor Center. We're working hard to bring great events for the month of March that are good for community and local businesses alike. The Chamber Mixer at 29 Palms Art Gallery and The 18th Annual Car Show are both around the corner and we invite you to participate and join us for these events. Last weekend we had the second Art Cruise 29! with a group of galleries opening their doors for receptions, food, music and great art. Discount coupons from local businesses were handed out and it was all-around good fun. Don't miss next month's Art Cruise 29! - always the 1st Saturday of the month.

St. Patrick's Day Mixer at 29 Palms Art Gallery
The Twentynine Palms Chamber St. Patrick's Day Mixer at 29 Palms Art Gallery is shaping up to be a fun time. What better day to get together and share some "cheers," a little food and great music, with your friends, neighbors and fellow business owner? The location backdrop of the lovely 29 Palms Art Gallery makes this one extra special and festive. Join us on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th for a great time!

18th Annual Car Show and Street Fair
We're heading into the stretch and aiming straight for the finish line with the 18th Annual Car Show and Street Fair on Saturday, March 31st . This is a local favorite and for good reason. In addition to the impressive display of cars, there will be live music, games, vendors, Soapbox Derby and Pinewood Derby.

There will be, not one, but three raffles with great prizes! There will be a Special Items Raffle, a 50/50 Jackpot, and an Art Competition!

The 29 Palms Chamber of Commerce Raffle will donate a percentage of all proceeds to the 29 Palms Baseball Little League. If you are a business/individual interested in benefiting this great cause, bring your gift cards, gift baskets, art pieces, coupons, and other assorted donations to the Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center any day from 10am to 4pm.

There is a Nonprofit Raffle and Voting Competition in conjunction with the 29 Palms Art Gallery to decide on our Pioneer Days 2018 Poster. (see below Pioneer Days announcement for more details) Be sure to get your vote in for your favorite art.

The 29 Palms Chamber of Commerce 50/50 Jackpot will be divided 50/50 between one lucky raffle ticket holder and a percentage of the remaining proceeds going to one nonprofit organization. The jar is filling up fast! We've already been given generous donations from a few of your local businesses. At this rate, we will need to get a bigger jar!

Tickets for the raffle:
$2.00 each
3 for $5.00
7 for $10
15 for $20
60 for $100
Tickets go on sale the day of the Car Show.

On top of this, we will be holding our annual poll for the 2018 Business of the Year and the 2018 Individual of the Year.

Come by our booth in front of the Chamber of Commerce/Visitor Center to buy your raffle tickets, participate in the voting, and other exciting events going on.

“Fortune Favors the Bold”
Theme Announced for Pioneer Days 2018

The Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce 2018 Pioneer Days theme "Fortune Favors the Bold.". This theme gives focus on the renewal movement currently sweeping through 29 Palms. With new businesses opening, new residents moving in, the Phoenix Project improvements, increasing tourism for Joshua Tree National Park and Mojave Preserve, and general enthusiasm for the future, we are overcome with a feeling of optimism as we forage onward BOLDLY towards a better future. And we agree with the Romans that Fortune truly does Favor those who Boldly dare to take on a challenge.

The Chamber of Commerce and the 29 Palms Art Gallery are Calling for Art inspired by this theme “Fortune Favors the Bold” to represent our city as the Official Poster and Pin of the 2018 Pioneer Days. Please email the 29 Palms Art Gallery at 29artgallery@gmail.com , in order to submit your completed art before March 31 st

Have a great week,

Jacob Smith,
President &
Executive Director
