"Support Youth Performing Arts Education"
Enjoy an evening of mystery coupled with a delightful dinner, as the San Angelo Broadway Academy Youth Theatre presents Sherlock Holmes's, "A Study in Scarlet", September 16th-17th  at First United Methodist Church Celebration Hall (37 E. Beauregard downtown).  

Featuring alumni Sean Gibbons and Nicholas Dietrick, the story is a dramatization of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson's first adventure together.  In this stage adaptation, Holmes is enlisted to help Scotland Yard investigate a mysterious murder that took place in an empty house. With no wounds on the body, nor any weapon to be found, and only a few clues to guide him, Holmes must track down the mysterious killer and bring him to justice 




Tickets include  a delicious meal of either roasted chicken or sliced beef paired with seasoned rice, sautéed green beans and mixed salad.  Guests can also enjoy an intermission filled with desserts, coffee, and chocolates provided by Cowboy Up Chocolates. 

 Doors open at 6:00pm 
Dinner served at 6:30pm 
Performances starting at 7:00pm.

This is a great fundraising opportunity to help the youth grow in the arts! Those attending will also have the chance to become season sponsors and private donors. All donations are tax deductible.

Did you know.....

1. One single professional-style production at SABA can cost between $18,000-$60,000 due to outsourcing costs for venues and lights along with the educational and production needs of between 65-90 students per production?  Approximately $8000 is covered by tuition leaving the remaining amount to grants, donors, and sponsors.  

2. SABA provides over 30 scholarships per year to students who want a chance to experience the arts.  It costs $350 to send a kid to camp, $250 for production workshops, and $375-$825 per year for dance depending on how many children and classes

3.  SABA performs for over 2000 school children during school day performances annually , absorbing approximately $16,000 in ticket sales in order to enrich the lives of children through live theatre
