Ribbon Cutting
The ribbon cutting ceremony for Palm Beach Dramaworks' Diane & Mark Perlberg Studio Theatre took place on Tuesday, April 5. Talking part were (from left) Producing Artistic Director William Hayes, Managing Director Sue Ellen Beryl, West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio, Diane Perlberg, and Mark Perlberg. The studio theatre is the home of The Dramaworkshop, PBD's lab for developing new plays. Jennifer Fawcett's  Buried Cities, the lab's first developmental production, opens on Friday, April 8.

Producing Artistic Director William Hayes addressed a gathering inside the Diane & Mark Perlberg Studio Theatre, which included West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio (front row, fourth from left); Founding Producers of The Dramaworkshop; and cast members of Jennifer Fawcett's Buried Cities, The Dramaworkshop's first developmental production, which begins performances on Friday evening, April 8. The ribbon cutting ceremony for the studio theatre took place on Tuesday, April 5.
Mayor Jeri Muoio
West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio spoke onstage at the Diane & Mark Perlberg Studio Theatre, home to The Dramaworkshop, Palm Beach Dramaworks' lab for developing new plays. The mayor talked about the impact PBD has had on the city, and how it has made downtown a destination for theatre lovers. The ribbon cutting ceremony for the studio theatre took place on Tuesday, April 5. Jennifer Fawcett's Buried Cities, the first developmental production of The Dramaworkshop, opens on Friday, April 8.
Palm Beach Dramaworks is a non-profit, professional theatre and is a member of the Theatre Communications Group, the South Florida Theatre League, Florida Professional Theatres Association, and the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County.
