4-H Entertains
March 4th & 5th
The weather conditions last week were not suitable for last weeks 4-H Entertains. The rehearsal will be March 4th beginning at 4:00 -7:00 PM. Please let Miss Jessica know what time you will be at rehearsal. The show will start at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 5th.

Ag Awareness Day March 18, 2015 9:00 - 3:00

Pender County will show support of agriculture by attending the Ag Awareness Day in Raleigh at the NC State Fairgrounds. We will get to meet elected officials, see agriculture related exhibits and lunch will be provided. Transportation will be provided leaving from the Extension Office at 8:00 and returning about 4:30. County Presentations
March 26, 2015 6:00 PM

Presentations are one of the most important projects in 4-H! It is a time to demonstrate your knowledge in a particular area. You can find your category and more information  here.There will be a county workday held on Tuesday, March 17th from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Extension Office. Miss. Jessica will be there to help guide and put together presentations. The County Presentation Night will be held on Thursday, March 26th at 6:00 PM at the Mission Baptist Church (right across the street from the extension office). Register for presentations by Monday, March 16th.

Life's A Garden, Dig It!
Community & 4-H Gardens

It's that time of year! The snow is melting, leaves are changing colors and there is more daylight! We are gearing up for a great spring and have a lot to do in the garden! We will be working on planting and maintenance on the 4-H Entrepreneurial Garden on Thursday, March 19th starting at 4:00 PM. We will have also be working at the Community Garden at Seven Oaks on that day. We hope this can be a community effort so please sign-up all 4-H friends and other community members.

Youth County Council Meeting
April 16, 2015 7:00 PM

4-H needs YOU! The county council meeting is for all 4-H youth ages 5-19 years old who want to meet other youth around the county! The Council will be electing officers (ages 12-19) and 4-H'ers will be the first to sign-up for 4-H Summer Day Camps! If you are interested in having more leadership skills, learn about parliamentary procedure and be apart of a great team sign-up for a spot on the council.

4-H will be super busy these next few months and I really hope I get to see everyone at club meetings and programs! All of you 4-H'ers are doing a great job on project records, competitions, and participating in 4-H Events! Keep up the great work and take a look at more events in the future!
