2016 CSA Share Options
Spring Share
8 weeks, beginning April 26th,
Tuesday or Thursday Pick Up
Cost: $230 with Credit Card, $220 with check or money order discount
Description: The spring share includes many greens and lettuces, plus some herbs, spring onions and scallions and small root crops like sweet turnips, beets, radishes and carrots. People who love fresh vegetables, "juicers" and seasoned local foodies will love this share. Spring greens are particularly delicious and lush in New England, and a great way to fill your diet with nutrient dense foods after a long, cold winter.
Summer Full share
15-16 Weeks beginning June 20th - pick up every week
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday Pick Up
Cost: $510 with Credit Card, $500 with check or money order discount
Description: The Summer Full Share is for people who love fresh, warm weather crops. This share begins right when, peas, spring broccoli and carrots are in full force, with zucchini, cucumbers and beans soon to follow. The share will also include tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, fennel, lettuce, kale, chard, beans, potatoes, beets, radish, sweet turnips, salad mixes, arugula, bok choy, kohlrabi, scallions, onions, melons, cherry tomatoes, husk cherry tomatoes, tomatillos, and more. Many of the summer vegetables can be enjoyed both raw and cooked, and we try to provide a wide variety of vegetables each week.
Summer Partial Share
15-16 weeks, beginning June 20th
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday Pick Up
Cost: $310 with Credit Card, $300 check or money order discount
Description: The Summer Partial Share is for people who love fresh, warm weather crops but don't have a lot of time to prepare meals at home, or have a small family, or who just want to give the CSA model a try. See "Full Summer Share" for produce availability details.
Fall Share
10 weeks, beginning Tuesday, October 11th
*This share will be an every-other-week pick up. We will distribute 2 weeks worth of vegetables each pick up.
Tuesday or Thursday pickup
Cost: $300 Credit Card, $290 check or money order discount.
Description: The Fall Share, new last year, is a great share for people who love roasted vegetables, soups, fresh salads and/or who love to cook. The share will include many root vegetables including carrots, beets, sweet potatoes, potatoes, turnips, onions, rutabaga and parsnips, many greens including kale, chard, spinach, arugula, mustard greens and bok choy along with leeks, lettuce, salad mix, winter squash, celery root, Brussels sprouts, kohlrabi, cabbage, broccoli and the last of the summer treats, like mini sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes, eggplants and tomatillos earlier in the share.
Pick Your Own:
Any day of the week (you do not have to pick on your CSA pick up day)
Dates: 3rd week of June - 3rd week of September (approx 12 weeks)
Cost: $60 if you are adding this to a CSA Share purchase, $70 if you are purchasing a stand-alone PYO Share.
Description: Pick a variety of small vegetables, herbs and flowers over the course of the summer. Crops include: peas, mini sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes, mini eggplant, tomatillos, husk cherry tomatoes, zinnias, sunflowers, cosmos, dill, cilantro, basil and more.
Egg Shares TBD
Brambly Farms is letting the coop rest (even farms need a break sometimes) and we're searching for another source of eggs for the 2016 season. More news on this development soon.
