As we gear up for the Primary Election next March I want to invite you join the 48th Ward Steering Committee at the 48 Ward Annual Meeting.

September 15th

11 a.m.
5539 N. Broadway.

The agenda for the meeting will include discussion of when and where we wish to schedule a Candidate endorsement session.We also will talk about other election activities we may wish to convene such as forums or social events.

For your information, below is the list of Candidates who were endorsed by the Cook County Democratic Party.

Our By Laws call for a vote of our Membership to endorse candidates.

Eligibility to vote at the Endorsement session requires that you have volunteer hours in this election season. Your voice is critical to help endorse and elect Progressive candidates.

P.S. Volunteers from Congresswoman Schakowsky and Representative Cassidy will be in our office at noon on 9/15 to kick off their efforts to gather petitions. They are also collecting signatures for a great new candidate who is running for the MWRD, Josina Morita. She will be in the office after our meeting so you can meet her.
