Praises & Prayer Requests from
Travis & Lorna

Greetings from Africa!

PRAISES:
  • For safe pick-up of all the children schooling out in grades 8-12 that we picked up from 4 different schools on Thursday for the long holiday weekend.
  • For wonderful Independence Day Celebrations both with Children of Zion Mission School and with our children and staff. The school celebration was on Wednesday and the true holiday was Friday when we celebrated here in the village. (The pictures are from our celebration)
  • We went and picked up Monica (one of our staff that had her house fall on her) and she came for the day of celebration Friday. She is doing very well and walking with one crutch when in town and going distances but in her house and for short distances she can walk without assistance!
  • For our families, our friends, The Mission Society, the COZV stateside board, our home church - Norcross First UMC, for our prayer partners and financial supporters.
PRAYERS:
  • For safe travels as we return the older ones to their respective schools on Sunday afternoon.
  • For the Ebners as they travel to Windhoek on Monday to get the car serviced and find a doctor to deliver their baby that is due in August.
  • For the Norcross team as they are preparing to come the end of July.
  • For all the children. For their hearts and for good decisions.
  • For all the staff and us - that we might have wisdom and be Christ-like models for the children and others in the community.
  • For total healing for Travis.
  • For good health for all and for safety in the village, as well as when traveling on the roads.
Be joyful always, pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

With Thankful Hearts, In His Service,
Travis and Lorna
