The City of Delray Beach will proudly pay tribute to the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces at the

4 th  Annual Veterans Day Ceremony

November 11, 2017 at 10 a.m.
Veterans Park, 802 NE 1 st  Street.

Guest speaker: Sergeant Carl Arfa

Enlisted in the Army in the spring of 1942, Sergeant Arfa is the recipient of many awards including, the Bronze Star, WWII Victory Medal, French Legion of Honor and the Florida Medal of Freedom, and was named a "Liberator" by the Holocaust Documentation Center.  Now, 92 years old, Arfa has made it his mission to share his unique history so people would never forget how the world was affected during that time.

Our City's Veteran's Day Ceremony started 4 years ago when a city employee, and veteran, asked why the City didn't celebrate such a special holiday. Together, we changed that and hope you will join us as we commemorate veterans of all wars and active duty military who have sacrificed so much to protect and preserve our freedoms.
