Mission Statement
Our Lady of Grace Catholic School students, parents, and staff are a community seeking to model the values of unity, truth, and love, to inspire life long learning, and to maintain a balance between our spiritual, social, and academic growth.

Philosophy
Dedicated to living Christ's message, Our Lady of Grace is a Catholic school made up of students, faculty, staff and families working together with love and respect.  While recognizing parents as the primary educators of their children, our community works together to develop individuals who are prepared to think critically, imbued with a strong sense of self-worth, and filled with a Christ-like approach to others.

Our Core Value for the Month of May is: Love
3.1: We follow Jesus' Golden Rule and we treat others as we want to be treated.
3.2: We promote social justice to improve the lives of others.
3.3: We share our time and talents with others.
3.4: We love to learn, and work to be scholars of integrity, empathy, and honor.

Spring IAE Testing

Spring IAE Testing begins next week, as students will be taking the "core battery" of language arts and math. This testing is not like the Fall ITBS, as we will only be taking a small percentage of the available assessments. Also, the language arts and math assessments for spring do not allow for individual reports for students- rather, this is an opportunity for teachers to evaluate progress of the entire class over the course of the school year. These tests will be used to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the OLG math and language arts program, and this data will be shared in the Back to School Presentation in August.

The testing takes a little over 200 minutes, so all classes should be done  by Thursday (as we only test in the morning). All of the extracurriculars (art, PE, music, etc) will still be conducted as usual. If you have any questions, my door is always open. Please feel free to call or email.
