Health Care law makes tax season tougher for small companies.
Vice President Joe Biden and Gov. Andrew Cuomo drew from their own experiences of recent loss on Friday to push for Cuomo's plan to provide 12 weeks of paid family leave in New York state, which would be among the most generous state plans in the nation.
Con Edison contractor and crews are installing new equipment to upgrade the gas system and electric system at a few locations:

Bank Street between West 4th Street & Greenwich Avenue; Work is expected to be completed by mid-April. Crews will work 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday

Bleecker and Leroy streets, and on Bleecker between Jones Street and Seventh Avenue; weekdays from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Cornelia Street between West 4th and Bleecker streets; weekdays from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m., and weekends from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.
