Message from the President
Dear Parents,

It was an honor to celebrate the 8 th grade graduation with our students at St. Gabriel Church. What an impressive group of young men and women. I am excited to see how many students will be making Cardinal Ritter their High School next fall.

We did not lose one minute in beginning our work in the school. This past Saturday we began the painting, floor replacement, and making room for our MakerSpace. The plan is to have eleven classrooms upgraded along with the music room by the time school starts.

Message from the Principal
Dear Parents and Families,

Throughout the summer, we will be sending our school newsletters every three weeks. Those scheduled dates for our publication are June 29, July 20, and August 10. Remember, if your email address changes over the summer, please let us know so you that you can continue to receive the latest updates.
We have been spending the last few days working on our volunteer hours, so we can mail the reports with your student’s report card. You should be receiving your child’s report card and other information next week. Parents of students who just finished Grades 3-8 will also receive information for accessing their student’s 2018 ISTEP+ results. We ask that you review your student’s scores right away, and if your student does not pass a particular exam but scores within ten points of the passing range, we suggest that you ask for a re-score. Remember that only families can request a re-score; the school cannot.

Know that while we are on summer vacation, our maintenance crew and office staff will continue to be busy at work. We have already begun work on our eleven classroom renovations and other projects, so if you stop in over the next two months, please excuse our mess. Great things are happening this summer to help better serve your students in the fall!

Used Uniforms Needed for Used Uniform Sale

Any family looking to sell their student’s used uniform clothing that the student can no longer wear may choose to donate the clothing to the school or to sell the item(s) at our used uniform sale in mid-July. All clothing must be in good condition with no holes, tears, or stains. Please wash all clothing before donating or selling your items. If you choose to sell an item, please label the items with your name and contact information, as well as the price per item you are requesting from the buyer. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Ramos at lramos@indyarchangel.org. 
Registration for 2018-2019

Families are still reminded that if they have not submitted their intent to return to St. Michael-St. Gabriel next year, then please do so as soon as possible. Even if your child is not returning, we need to know that as well. Remember that all paperwork and the submission of the $150 registration fee are required to secure your student’s place for next year. Additionally, we have our tuition rates for 2018-2019 posted online for you. Mrs. Areal has also sent home financial packets with your student this week, so please contact her with any questions and to set up your financial meeting as needed.
