6 Project Based Learning Strategies Every Teacher Should Know
Teachers and researchers agree that Project Based Learning (PBL) is an effective and enjoyable way to learn and develop essential 21st century skills required for success in today’s knowledge-based, global society. In this webinar, participants will learn how to incorporate PBL into their classroom and understand the 6 strategies for evaluating any high quality project based learning experience. Participants will walk away with ideas for implementation and assessment that can easily apply to any grade level or subject.

Participants will also have the opportunity to dive in deeper after the webinar through Brandman’s Directed Study course “ Introduction to Project Based Learning Experiences .” Through a grant, the first twenty-five individuals who register for the course will be able to participate in the professional learning at no cost, usually $400 per participant.*
In this webinar we will focus on:

  • 6 Strategies for evaluating high quality project based learning experiences
  • What are the challenges and barriers to integrating PBL and how to overcome them
  • How to connect academic standards to real world context
  • Introduction to creating authentic formative and summative assessments to evaluate PBL learning
*This event is hosted by Brandman University and made possible through a generous grant from the Better Together CA Teachers Summit .
