Message from the Principal
Dear Families and Friends,

A few weeks ago you should have received your summer tuition statement from Mrs. Areal, as well as a copy of the Free and Reduced Lunch Form. We ask all families to complete this form, whether you think your family will qualify or not, as this information helps with our government funding. Please return these forms to the school office by September 15, 2017. If you did not receive this form or your tuition statement, please contact the main office.
With just a few weeks of summer vacation left, we want to remind our students that they may still have some summer reading to complete. If you have misplaced the summer reading list, please see the link below in this newsletter.  Also, if you ordered your school supplies through SchoolKidz, those boxes are scheduled to be delivered the week of July 31st to the school.

We are still looking for some parent volunteers to help with our morning drop-off and our pick-up at the end of the school day, as well as some parents who are willing to help supervise our elementary students during recess. If you might be interested in helping with either of these tasks, please let me know. As a reminder, parent volunteers who are around students must be Safe and Sacred trained.
Remember that on Sunday, August 6th, parents and students are invited to attend our Back to School Bash, beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Students can meet their teachers and bring in their school supplies that afternoon.  Parents are also invited to attend our Parent Meeting at 2:00 p.m. in the church, where we will review important information for the coming year. Our Back to School Bash will continue after the Parent Meeting until 4:00 p.m. for any families who are unable to attend earlier in the afternoon.

WELCOME, FR. KAMWENDO!


We want to welcome Fr. John Kamwendo to our school, as he takes over as administrator of St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Indianapolis. Fr. Kamwendo was formerly associate pastor of St. Michael Parish in Brookville and St. Peter Parish in Franklin County.

2017-2018 CYO Cross Country 

Any student interested in running Cross Country needs to sign up on the CYO website here.

The fee is $39, which includes the uniform. Checks can be made payable to Cardinal Ritter High School. The deadline for registration and the fee is  September 28th . If you have any questions please contact Mr. Kyle Powers via email at  kpowers@cardinalritter.org .
