Dear Enneagram Friends:

You are invited to lively and historic San Antonio, Texas, USA for an exciting conference  that brings together Enneagram professionals and enthusiasts from around the world.  

Whether you are new to the Enneagram or a long-time student and practitioner,  come learn with world-class teachers  and professional members of IEA as we dive into practices for using the Enneagram to manifest personal and professional transformation.   

So many great people showed up at the IEA conference in Minneapolis to engage the Enneagram in countless ways, and we realized that it always comes back to the people. We would love you to be one of them next July at the next IEA conference in San Antonio!

1. MULTICULTURAL EXPERIENCE FOR HALF THE COST: This cool little tourist town is a multi-cultural experience for half the cost of larger cities. [Self-pres types ... we ' re looking out for you. ;-) ]     Spanish is widely spoken here and Tejano music on the many streets gives off a festive air. You get a taste of the Southwest USA with rodeos, horseback riding, cattle drives, and cowboy breakfasts at guest ranches nearby.  

 

2. THE RIVER WALK: This 15 mile riverside promenade was recently expanded by 8 miles and connects the 4 of the 5 city's 18 century frontier missions with walking and bike trails along with the San Antonio Museum of Art. Shops, restaurants, museums and culture line the walk AND the conference location, the Hilton Palacio del Rio, is right on the lovely shaded RiverWalk.

3. UNESCO RECOGNITION:  In 2015, San Antonio's five Spanish colonial missions, as a group, were designated a World Heritage site.

4. MEDIAN AGE OF PEOPLE  IN SAN ANTONIO IS 33:  For the under 40 Enneagrammers... #nextgenEnneagram begins here. We're also connecting with Austin friends who are bringing a contingent from down the road and Austin is a pretty cool city too.

5. CHEF DRIVEN RESTAURANTS AND FOOD TRUCKS: The food scene is written up all over the place. We'll give you some good suggestions...you may also want to do some homework before you come so you can get reservations at places you want to check out.

 

6. THRIVING ARTS SCENE:  The Blue Start Arts Complex includes a contemporary arts museum, several bars and restaurants, a theater, and apartments. The McNay Art Museum is the first modern art museum founded in the state of Texas with an impressive array of Postimpressionist works.

7. AUSTIN'S UP THE ROAD: 

Did you know that Austin and surrounding cities in Texas have a strong interest in the Enneagram? They're glad we're coming their way this time around. A number of them have generously offered to help us out so be sure to thank them.
