"Take Your Child to the Library Day" is February 7th
Story time with Winnie the Pooh and other activities are sure to make this a great event!

Join us on February 7th at 11 AM as we celebrate national "Take Your Child to the Library Day." Winnie the Pooh will be with us for story time as well as a scavenger hunt, raffle, prizes, and snacks! Thank you to our friends at the Believe in Books foundation who made Winnie's appearance possible.
The Conway Board of Selectmen will issue the following proclamation at their Feb. 3rd meeting in honor of Take Your Child to the Library Day:
Whereas libraries serve as community resources for children and families
Whereas children develop literacy skills and form a life-long love of reading at libraries
Whereas libraries provide free opportunities for children and families to enjoy engaging programs and a diverse array of materials and services
Whereas libraries strive to inform children and families of resources and services available to them that will enrich, educate, and entertain citizens
Be it resolved that the first Saturday of February will hereby be designated as Take Your Child to the Library Day in the Town of Conway
