"I am the light of the world, says the Lord; whoever follows me will have the light of life." JN 8:12
Message from the Principal
Cardinal Ritter Families,
It's been a very busy and productive week here at Cardinal Ritter High School. We were blessed with the opportunity to host the West Deanery teachers on Thursday to collaborate! The event was a great success and we even had a Ritter Hall of Fame Athlete win a team-building activity. It is clear she's still a competitor!
Students are keeping busy with retreats, fields trips, and a variety of athletic events. If you do not yet, please feel free to follow me on Twitter: @Principal_CRHS as I try to post pictures and updates of events, activities, and students throughout the day and in the evenings.
As always, it's a blessing to be able to work with your students on a daily basis.
God Bless,
Steven Pelych

A Note to Senior Parents

Senior conferences are about to begin. These are one-on-one meetings with your senior and their counselor to review your senior's plans after graduation and the steps involved. This includes college applications, how to request transcripts, scholarship information, financial aid, college info, etc. If you would like to attend your student's senior conference, please call the Guidance Office at 924-4333 to schedule.
Nutrition and Wellness has been studying the six essential nutrients the body needs to function and keep us healthy. Last week, the menu contained high protein, low fats and carbohydrates -- until dessert! The class prepared pan fried chicken breasts, Caprese Salad, steamed broccoli, and finished the meal off with Crockpot Apple Cobbler.
Mrs. O'Connor's Anatomy students infused art into class by re-creating skin disorders and conditions. Don’t worry parents — it’s just makeup.
Grandparents, join us for our Grandparent's Day liturgy on Tuesday, September 11 beginning at 10:20 AM. Please RSVP to Sara Castillo via email or call 317-924-4333 ext 428.

Aaron Hofer is leading the boys' soccer team on offense with 3 goals and 7 assists. He is the midfielder that has controlled the tempo for the #5 ranked Raiders. Aaron has also helped the team kickoff this season with a 5-1 record.
