APRIL 2018
From the Desk of Alderman Anthony A. Beale

Dear Neighbor,

The parking lot has been paved, the foundation has been poured and the walls are being installed. Today is a great day in the 9th Ward!  The development of our 135,000 square foot large scale climate controlled indoor sports community center is entering the final stages.

This state-of-the-art center will be nothing short of remarkable with all of its amenities, programs and creation of jobs. It will feature three full-size multi-sport playing fields for year-round play.

The center will have space for community meetings, exhibitions, league programs and offer training for people of all ages and abilities in baseball, golf, volleyball, lacrosse, football and soccer. We are developing a neighborhood anchor which will give young people a place to develop their talents. I encourage you to drive by 104th and Woodlawn and take a look at the progress.
