A Better LA would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of our March 16th event, Changing the Game. As our first major event of the year, we were thrilled to gather our diverse and influential team that includes business and community leaders, local law enforcement, and outreach workers, to discuss A Better LA's innovative strategies that are keeping kids safe throughout the inner-cities of Los Angeles. We received great feedback about the invigorating and inspiring discussion.

We would like to thank Tim Leiweke, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck, Sheriff Lee Baca and Pete Carroll for being part of our incredible panel. We would also like to thank Emmy Award winner Lu Parker for being our moderator and leading the discussion. We greatly appreciate their insight into the future of Los Angeles as well as their continuous support of A Better LA.

We were also fortunate to have some students in attendance, both from USC and our partner communities. Professor David Belasco of the USC Marshall School of Business joined us along with ten of his undergraduate students. Reynaldo Reaser, one of our funded outreach workers, brought DeAnthony, who was able to share his story of how A Better LA changed his outlook on life and led him toward a brighter future. We also had ten young girls from our funded partner, CURE, who had the opportunity to attend as a reward for thier recent academic success. We would like to thank them all for their contributions to our event.

We would also like to thank our dedicated Board and Advisory Board, without whom we could not achieve any of the success we have had. And of course, thank you to our many sponsors, mentioned below, who made this event possible. Your generosity is saving lives and changing communities throughout Los Angeles.
