CUNY Callouts

Meilly Cen Mo, Baruch 23, has a zest for advertising. The Baruch senior and CUNY Office of Communications and Marketing intern initially attended City College but decided she could better explore her interests by changing campuses. Now, she’s the president of her college’s American Marketing Association Club. Born in Venezuela, Meilly spent the first 15 years of her life in China before coming to New York. As a first-generation college student, she had to navigate a lot of unknown territory and find her way around many obstacles. But she never quit, and she hopes to continue uplifting herself and her community after graduation.

Meilly's Advice: “If I can do it, you can do it too. Attend club activities, step out of your comfort zone and you will find a brand new self.”
