Supporting STEM Through CTE
Career and technical education (CTE) offers instruction in the foundational skills needed to be successful in jobs critical to our nation’s economy, such as health care, energy, and national security. CTE programs strengthen students’ understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), which is important to a variety of occupations (ACTE, 2009).

A Data Dive into, High-wage, High-demand Jobs 
In celebration of CTE month 2018, CNA Education is sharing a list of the top ten high-demand, high-wage jobs and top five high-demand jobs that offer a high-wage that do not require a bachelor’s degree. The list was developed using 2016 – 2026 bureau of labor statistics data.

Assessing the Value of CTE: CNA Education’s Dr. Kevin Hollenbeck dissects the current trends in career and technical education (CTE). This episode of STEMwire Live discusses the value of return on investment for CTE and workforce development programs as well as CNA’s workforce development research strategy and how our work addresses policy development and reform. 
Manufacturing a Way to Career Readiness: As part of our ongoing focus to support workforce development and career education, CNA released Manufacturing a Way to Career Readiness and is continuing to release a series of products that examine how advanced manufacturers measure the career readiness of entry-level job applicants and their continued training needs.
Changing the Way Students Find Their Future- Labor Market Analysis Tool: CNA Education developed an interactive tool that will change the way students prepare for their future. The new labor market analysis tool helps Career and Technical Education (CTE) students determine what high-wage, high-demand jobs are available and if the jobs are relevant to their interests and level of education.
