Tuesday Life Drawing Sessions:
Tuesdays, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm; $10 per person; age 18 & up; bring your own drawing supplies.Life Drawing is a great way to quickly improve your observational skills, which is great practice for any artist. The attention to visual reality helps hone an understanding of how forms and light relate. Just $10 per session, or $30 for four sessions.

Friday, November 6, 6:30 - 9:30 pm, $20 plus $15 materials fee, includes tools and refreshments, 18 & up.  Artist Lori DeMark will teach you the basics of silver jewelry. Make  two pairs of earrings made entirely from the start (designing, cutting, cold hammering, filing, and polishing the sterling silver. We'll have snacks and enjoy ourselves -- we might even get a glass of wine from the winery next door!

Starting November 6, from 7pm - 9pm, no fee (though donations are appreciated) All teens welcome. Bring your art and your ideas to Round Hill Arts Center on the First Friday of each month.  We'll have activities planned in consultation with local High School instructors, snacks, and more! We want to create a great place for creative people to hang out.

Adventures in Art with Amy Manson
Adventures in Art  for Kids with Amy Manson
Saturdays, 10 am - 12 pm, November 7 through 28 (4 classes), $150. Ages 7-13. Artist Amy Manson leads this dynamic class, which encourages children's natural interest in exploring their own creativity.  Children will imagine, draw, paint, sculpt and design, while learning about various artists, and artistic styles. Children will explore multiple mediums and develop new skills. Students will work on new projects each session. 

Saturdays, November 7, 14, and 21, 10 am to 11:15 am, $20, Ages 8 and up.
Beautiful and unexpected images can be created by painting with flashlights in front of a camera. The lens is held open, the lights are dimmed, and painting in the air ensues. Broad strokes, colorful swaths and intricate tracing can reveal surprising results when the final image is viewed.

Saturday, November 7, 10 am to 4 pm ( with a break for lunch); $80 includes materials. Age 16 & up. Jen Pelton will get you started in the art of stained glass! Students will each construct a wreath suncatcher using the copper foil method. Learn basic color planning and design as well as cutting, foiling, soldering and framing techniques. Bring a lunch and we'll have a fun day!

Tuesdays, November 10 through January 12 2016, (eight classes, no class December 22 or 29) 10 am - 1 pm, $200 plus $25 materials fee, Age 16 & up.  Make beautiful and functional ceramics without using the pottery wheel! Learn the most current and creative ways to work with slabs, coils and molds to create plates, vases, tiles, butter dishes and more. Experiment with a wide range of color and texture using slips, stains and glazes to decorate your ceramic creations. Individual and group discussions will help guide you as your ideas and creativity develop. Appropriate for all skill levels.

Get Me Started Oil Painting with Dana Thompson
Get Me Started Series: Kitchen Still Life Painting with Dana Thompson:
It's easier to paint with oils than you think! Accomplished painter and respected instructor Dana Thompson will introduce the basics of oil painting, from compostion to color theory. Dana will set up a beautiful  still life to inspire you. You'll be amazed at what you can do in three hours! Saturday, October 24, 1 pm - 4 pm, $50 includes supplies.

Tin Turkey Lanterns with Meredith Hilt
Friday November 20, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, $35 per family of four includes materials, pizza and drinks. All ages. Join metal artist and jeweler Meredith Hilt and make punched tin turkey lanterns to light up your Thanksgiving table! Make an evening of it -- we'll have pizza and drinks available, too.
