Ave Law students, Monsignor McGrath, Dr. Fedoryka, chair of Ave Maria University Philosophy Department, and Professor and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Dean Timothy Tracey attended the annual Fall Retreat.

Dear Friends,

Our Fall semester is well under way and this academic year may well be our best ever.

We received our Florida bar results and they are very good, almost a twenty-point gain over last year. We ranked right in the middle for Florida law schools, and we are working to do even better in February. I want to congratulate all of our alumni who passed the bar exam. We're very proud of you; your extremely hard work has paid off.

We have more exciting news to share with you. Ave Law is committed to becoming the number one law school for veterans, and to that end, we will honor our nation's veterans by naming our law library the "Veterans Memorial Law Library." We are also planning a Veterans Memorial Wall of Honor, possibly a future Veterans Law Clinic and a full scholarship to for our nation's veterans.

I want to personally thank you and the entire Ave Law School Community for your continued support.

God Bless you and your families,

Kevin Cieply
President and Dean

20 POINT INCREASE IN AVE LAW
FLORIDA BAR PASSAGE!

I am pleased to share with you some great news. We received our Florida bar results and they are very good, almost a 20 point gain over last year, with a 66.7% pass rate. We ranked right in the middle for Florida law schools, and are working to do even better next time. I want to congratulate all of our alumni who passed the bar exam. We're very proud of them, and their extremely hard work has paid off.

Ave Law's new bar preparation program led by Professor Chris Buscaglia, and assisted by our alumna and Adjunct Professor Beth Humann, did an outstanding job of preparing our students to take the bar. My thanks to them and to our very dedicated faculty and staff.

I'm pleased to note that we are seeing such positive results from the academic rigor and Bar Preparation Program we instituted a year ago. We plan on doubling our efforts to insure that this excellent trend continues.
BAR INDUCTION CEREMONY

Ave Law had the honor of hosting a special group of alumni who were inducted into the Florida Bar. This ceremony was held on our campus in he St. Thomas More Commons building on September 23. The Honorable Carol Mirando, United States Magistrate Judge, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida administered the Oath of Admission.

Congratulations to the newest members of the Florida Bar!

We are honored to recognize Professor Holtz for his unwavering support of Ave Maria School of Law and for his many achievements as a lawyer, professor, and leader.
