Big Welcome to New Leadership Staff
The El Dorado Hills Community Services District is pleased to share recent additions to the District's  Le adership  and Management Team  in  the Parks and Planning Department and the Recreation Department.  Please join us in extending a warm welcome to:

Safe Routes to School Workshop
When:  Wednesday, March 7th at 6pm
Where: Norm Rowett Pavilion, 1021 Harvard Way
You are invited to attend a FREE workshop to discuss opportunities and concepts for improving walking and bicycling to school in El Dorado Hills, including: 
  • Safe Routes to School in the El Dorado Hills area 
  • Strategies to encourage more walking and bicycling
  • Successful Safe Routes to Schools activities in other areas

Classes & Activity Highlights
Easter Egg & Aqua Egg Hunts -  Join us for some Easter Egg fun on Saturday, March 31
At 9am, meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for plastic eggs filled with goodies in the Community Park. Please have children bring baskets, and parents bring your cameras! No pre-registration required.

At 2pm, the Aqua Bunny will make a splash in the Community Pool! Baskets will be provided for children to hunt for plastic eggs floating in the water and scattered along the bottom of the pool. Exchange eggs for goodies, and take pictures with the Aqua Bunny.  Pre-registration is required and walk-ins will be not be accepted.  Click here to register.

Lap Swim - March Session
Have you signed up for the March lap swim session yet? Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 5:30am-7am. The pool is 78 degrees with 
heated restrooms and showers are available. 
Register for the March session today. A t least 10 people are needed to keep the session open!

St. Patrick's Day Party at the Gilmore Senior Center
Join us for a special St. Patrick's Day themed party on Friday, March 16.  Come for lunch, stay for the fun! Call 916-358-3575 for more

U.K. International Soccer Camp
If you're looking for something fun to do over Spring Break, check out U.K. International Soccer Camp ( March 26-30 ). This camp emphasizes fundamental skills for players ages 4-16. Groups are formed according to ag e.   Click here to register; registration ends March 16.

Spring Break at KydZonE
KydZonE will be open 7am-6pm on Monday, March 19 and Monday, March 26 to Friday, 
March 30. Kids also have the opportunity to attend two field trips this month: Rockin' Frog Yogurt and Lake Forest Park on March 19, and Sunrise Rollerland on March 28

El Dorado Hills Community Council Meeting
When:  Monday, March 5 at 7pm

Featured Speaker State Assemblyman Kevin Kiley will present on the initiative to repeal SB1-Gas Tax and potential for State Income tax deduction changes to offset Federal Tax Reform.

Household Hazardous Waste Disposal
The El Dorado County Environmental Management operates a hazardous household waste collection site at 
El Dorado Hills Fire Department's Station 86 (3670 Bass Lake Road).  Click here  for more information and upcoming dates.
