Children's Summer Sunday School Starts Sunday, July 3

Our classrooms are ready and waiting for children to fill them! Come and discover the "Fruits of the Spirit" this summer.
Wanted: Fruit for Our Kids' Spirits

Our theme for this summer's Children's Summer Sunday School program is "Fruits of the Spirit." In addition to the weekly spiritual nourishment from the teachers, we would like to provide the children with a small snack each week. If you can help supply some physical nourishment - with a fruity theme, of course! - click on the link below.
A Celebration Sunday Indeed!

Booklet of Rev. Phil Blackwell's Sermons

So many have enjoyed Phil's sermons while he served as Interim Lead Pastor  the past 15 months. We will be compiling a booklet of his sermons given during  his ministry at First Church. If you are interested in ordering one or more booklets, please submit an order form, which will be included in Sunday's bulletin, or contact the church office at  info@fumc.org  or 608-338-0545. Cost is $10 per booklet. Deadline for orders is Friday, July 22.
An Invitation to Enjoy "Summer Vacation": A Senior Luncheon
Tuesday, July 19
11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Sign Up by July 15

We all remember how excited we were at the approach of the end of each school year. We'll recapture some of that excitement at Summer Vacation, our July 19th senior luncheon, when author Susan Apps Bodilly will reminisce about one-room school houses.  Chef Steve is planning a delicious "school days" inspired lunch.

We're asking you to look for photos from your own school days that you would be willing to share with the group. You may either drop them off at church or email them to jostrander@fumc.orgPlease note that any photos received will be returned to you.

Summer Vacation is sponsored by the United Methodist Women and FUMC's Homebound Ministry.
