Packing – Sunday, November 12, 2017
Have fun helping to pack boxes at St. Francis this Sunday, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A light pizza lunch will be provided. Please call Susie Zimmerman at 310-316-5941 with any questions or to let us know you will be coming so we have plenty of boxes and pizza on hand.

Thank you for praying for our troops 'til they come back home!
We will not forget them while they are deployed, working hard to keep us safe.

Bring Donations To Church
November 12
We work regularly to support St Luke's Breakfast Program for the Homeless in Long Beach . They always need donations of underwear (the most requested, but least often donated items for homeless shelters). Please bring what you can to church this Sunday, and our volunteers will take them to St Luke's the following Saturday. Mens' and womens' underwear in larger sizes preferred. Thank you!
The Faces Of St Francis, Facing The Future Together
Next Week—In-gathering Sunday, November 19
With Special Coffee Hour Goodies!
YOU are one of the faces of St Francis Church. Thank you for your pledge which enables us to love God, love others and serve the world. Next week, we invite you to bring your completed pledge cards to church. On the altar we will pray over them in thanksgiving and consecrate them for God’s glory. After each service we shall enjoy Thanksgiving goodies to  thank you  for what we share together.

Parish Conversation
Thank you all for attending and contributing to the Parish Conversation last week. Over 40 parishioners attended. We appreciate your thoughtful feedback and input, and will incorporate your contributions to the process of updating our Mission and Vision statements. For those who were not able to attend, please send your thoughts on these four questions to Rev. Peter :
  • What are we doing well in fulfilling the mission of Jesus among us?
  • What do you think is the dream of God for us?
  • What do you need from St. Francis Church to be able to Love God, Love Others, and Serve the World?
  • What are the two things you would change at St. Francis if you could? And why?
Thank you for your commitment to our Church!
