Dear Family & Friends,

We are in a season in which we really need your financial help. We have rarely been in this situation where we have had to ask for your financial contributions. We have continually relied on the providence of God and the generosity of people. Ministries often go through ebbs and flows financially and so do individuals. We understand that reality all too well.

We are finding ourselves in a place of not being able to meet our immediate
financial responsibilities, such as rent, utilities, and basic ministry needs for this month of April and into the next few months. The reality is, that if we don't receive financial help immediately, The Refuge may cease to exist in our city. We believe the community would suffer a great loss should our work here cease. Frankly, we don't believe we are done here. Part of God's providence and believing in generosity is informing people of where we stand and inviting them to give financially.

The community benefits greatly from the ministry that we do in this community and beyond. We are a praying community and we host and organize prayer events. We minister to the physically sick, emotionally troubled and spiritually lost. We equip the body of Christ, we host a body of believers on Sunday mornings as well as other events, we go outside of our walls and bless others globally in addition to all we do here in the house. We have several ministries that meet the needs of the people we serve. For those of you who come to The Refuge on a regular basis recognize we have a great value in our community.
