We normally give you ministry updates once a month.
But the opportunity that just came our way we could not wait to share!
A missionary with the Awana organization who serves Maryland and Virginia reached out to invite us to submit some workshop themes for consideration for upcoming Awana conferences in September and October. From their website, "Awana impacts and shapes the lives of millions of kids and adults worldwide through proven resources and expertise that help churches and families develop lifelong disciples of Christ." We are blessed and honored to have been asked to participate in several conferences during the next two months.
Already we have been invited by and confirmed with coordinators from conferences in Yorktown and Woodbridge, Virginia, and Bowie Maryland!
We are scheduled to present
four different workshops
at two of the conferences so far and are waiting to hear from the third one to see what workshops they want.
We have been praying for more speaking opportunities and especially to new audiences. God is answering that prayer. We praise Him.
Now, we must get to work. If you think of us, would you pray:

For clarity in putting together workshops that will truly touch hearts and make a difference for both parents and volunteers in ministry alike.

For the audience. That God would bring many parents and volunteers and ready their hearts to be encouraged and empowered in parenting and ministry.

For the financial means to meet our expenses of food, gas, and hotel. Awana is not able to support us much (if at all) in this endeavor as they have their own missionaries to support.
We are excited that God has seen fit to open this new door. Thank you again for your enthusiasm and partnership with us in this work.
