To our Charles River Strength and Fitness members,

We want to thank each and every one of you for hanging in there through some pretty difficult times.  We are close to wrapping up this project and we appreciate your loyalty and dedication during this shake up.  It's a testament to everyone's support and flexibility and we can't thank you enough.

With that being said, we wanted to reach out and touch on a few subjects that we know are concerns of everyone. Over the next few weeks we will be addressing these concerns that we have received and beginning to find the best, most accommodating ways to operate as one community. This merge is going to be an adjustment for everyone, staff included, and we are working on ways to alleviate the tension. Please understand that each one of these concerns is going to take some time and, most likely, more than one attempt of being smoothed over.

First things first, the shower rooms are completed and operational. We've spent a lot of time on the design and trying to maximize the utilization while minimizing the space. With double the number of members, please be timely and courteous and stick to our shower room rules.

Secondly, please keep in mind this is a shared space. You will be seeing new faces wondering about and new methods and movements that you may not be accustomed to seeing. We are working on schedules and times for all of our competitive lifters from both gyms so as to not disrupt class times but we are almost guaranteed to have some overlapping. Please be welcoming of each other and respectful of shared equipment (i.e. rowers and bikes). If there are classes going on please make sure to ask an instructor if equipment is available.

Lastly, we are brainstorming ideas and methods of execution on rehabbing the men's and women's bathrooms so as to not disrupt business hours. We will keep you all posted as to what is going to take place and when.

We are all here for the purpose of getting fit and having fun while doing it. Each and every client has their own methods, their owns preferences, their own individual goals, and we all need to understand and be respectful of that. We promise to continue to deliver each of our respective programs in their own ways and offer you the best training staff in the Boston area. We are doing our best daily to adhere to everyone's needs and concerns but it is going to take us some time to smooth out all of the wrinkles.

Again, we cannot even begin to express the extent of our gratitude for sticking with us through this tumultuous time. We look forward to our future together as Charles River Strength & Fitness. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our General Manager, Erik Miller at erik@charlesriversf.com. Don't be shy! Introduce yourselves to each other and stay positive. We are all in this together! Have a safe and warm snow day!

Sincerely,
The CRSF Staff
