Jewish Women's Archive Webinar Hosted by TI's Tali Puterman
November 8 at 1:00 p.m.
The Jewish Women's Archive will be welcoming Temple Israel's Tali Puterman, winner of the 2017 Natalia Twersky Educator Award, to present themes and teaching methods from her winning lesson, "Henrietta Szold: Learning from the Past to Shape Our Future." By exploring ideas of power, resistance, identity, and storytelling, Tali will engage participants in a discussion about making the classroom a space where otherness is embraced, and where students see themselves as leaders, and as agents of change. While this program has been designed with an educator audience in mind, anyone who is interested is encouraged to participate. Learn more and register here.
