In this series, we will dive deep into the  Eight-Limbed Path , a cornerstone of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. This is the physical application of the Sutras, how to bring them to life and practice them in our everyday activities. We will look at the guidelines of how to act in the world, Yamas , which are applicable to all beings everywhere; and then, as devoted spiritual practitioners, how to act toward ourselves, Niyamas .

In this 3-hour introductory workshop, you will learn about the seven major Chakras -- what they are, how they affect us on a physiological and emotional level, how you can address each Chakra to find balance, and how you can begin to work toward self-healing with tools including yoga asanas, meditation, affirmations, essential oils and sound healing.

Ayurveda 101

Ayurvedic wisdom teaches us how to achieve vibrant physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health by living in harmony with our individual body-mind constitutions and with the natural rhythms of nature.
 
This workshop will include lecture and physical yoga asana practice. In this workshop you will learn Ayurveda's philosophy of health and well-being, your unique mind-body type, diet and lifestyle tips for radiant living, asana sequences and breathing techniques to balance your mind-body type.

Lindsay is Back!

She's back! And she's bringing her classic 'Lindsay-style' yoga back to SYC for this very special reunion class.

This music-driven all-levels vinyasa flow will be playful, reflective and challenging. We will start in contemplation to establish our focus and intention. Then we'll build energy and heat through dynamic movement and breath. Finally we'll explore our edges in a few challenging signature poses. 

Class will wind down with soothing stretches as Lindsay guides us toward a long and well-deserved savasana.
