The New Year allows us moments to reflect upon all those unanswered questions: the who, what, when, where and why's, that have been in question over the previous year. Strangely, we all make our pledge for change. How we are going to reposition ourselves? How should we orchestrate life differently in the upcoming year? New Year's suggests a newness in life; but, before we get to the new energies and synergies of the upcoming New Year, we must start at the beginning of the proposed change, and address those matters that plagued us in the previous year. Deal and address those issues in question.
I find that the only way to honor any new direction in life or change is to confront those things that are puzzling; address, confront and deal with those matters. Don't assume that someone receives your apology through osmosis – don't say that you are giving up smoking, abusing friendships, lying, stealing and drinking, if the desire is still within you. Be truthful to yourself and others will respect the truth from you. Don't leap into the next year without a total commitment to truth – it's not on strike – it will free and cleanse you and will allow you to make a change. Have a complete understanding of your commitment you make to yourself; GOD is listening and watching. Please recognize your commitment to your resolution – don't commit to resolve before you have made the commitment - it might be a revelation. A new year –2012 - 366 new days – yes, we have been Blessed with an extra day to get it right. God Bless-Angelo A. Ellerbee
