"The most rewarding things you do in life are often the ones that look like they cannot be done."
Arnold Palmer

A short story about the King
The first person to win the Master's four times was Arnold Palmer. With 92 career victories, he is rightly considered one of the greatest players in the history of the game, and he had an army to go with it.

This year, our family was on vacation in Carlsbad when the Master's was on, so we followed it even more than usual. One of my daughters has taken up golf recently, and we were rooting for Jordan Spieth, making the event particularly fun to watch.

On day two, I was reading the newspaper and an item drew my attention. I commented to my wife, "Oh, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicolaus hit the opening drives at the Master's."

My twin thirteen-year-old daughters suddenly looked up from their iPhones and one asked in surprise, obviously shared by her sister, "You mean there's a real person named Arnold Palmer?"

It just doesn't get better than that!
