Special Thanks to These Fabulous Young Local Leaders for Their Service This Summer!
Left to right: Rebecca, Quenttan, and Nathanael

These phenomenal young leaders who served with us this summer share their perspectives on their experiences:

I'm a journalism and juridical science student. I live in Haiti in Haiti's Delma region. I met CHES thanks to my close friend Nathanaël . Nathanael invited me to volunteer for CHES with him after the hurricane left devastated the South where CHES sent us to deliver the direct relief funds to the Laborde community in November last year. I love serving and accompanied Nathanael without hesitating. It was the first activity I participated with CHES as a delegate. I had the opportunity to work  with CHES and the Laborde Community again this summer during the entrepreneurship and business management training. It was a super experience and I dreamed to live these experiences everyday - especially with CHES. I learned so much from this experience. It really made a positive impact in my life. This experienced gave me greater understanding and empathy for people. I wish progress and success in all that CHES is doing!

I live in delmas and I am a student in the 4th year of Nursing Science at INUTECH. It was a pleasure for me to work in CHES now for two years. This experience has increased my intellectual capacity. During the course of this training, I had the opportunity to participate in many activities such as: collecting data, helping people to understand the content taught. I participated with the aim of lending my support as a Haitian citizen.
