Since 1995 Wayne and Vicky Galler have been working to improve the health and lives of hundreds of destitute children and adults around the globe. They do this by providing those in need with decent food and housing, as well as education and job training.

In June of 2000 "A Touch of Love Foundation" was formed (a 501(c)3 organization) to help this cause. The foundation has child sponsorship programs in India, Ghana, the Dominican Republic and Argentina. In each country and village the programs are customized to meet the specific needs of that community and area. The assistance often includes free medical care in areas that are too poor or geographically remote to access such services. The foundation has especially put alot of attention on AIDS prevention in many of the aforementioned countries.     
 
Meher Baba's message about serving God by serving others has been integral to the philosophy and path that both Wayne and Vicky have taken in their lives and work. 
 
 
Dr. Bande the foundation Regional Director of Ahmednagar District provides care to a young boy. 
  

 About this Sunday's program Wayne says : 

"My wife and I will give a visual overview of how 
we serve Meher Baba on three continents. We take
His message of service into villages and to refugees
in need of education, medical care and food and 
housing. Only by serving others can we find the joy
of serving Meher Baba.

Please come and hear and watch our journey from 
starting work in Pune in 1995 to working all over India, 
Ghana, the Dominican Republic and Argentina. We are
presently building a new Children's Home in South India
to house 42 orphan and semi-orphan children...."

 
Many of the children and families Wayne and Vicky serve live within a stone's throw of Meherabad, in Admednagar District. Over 350 children in this area benefit every school day from the love and efforts of Wayne, Vicky, and those working for or supporting the foundation.

The Young Adults' Discourses Group continues its weekly meetings, which are open to younger-generation Baba-lovers & Seekers.

6:30 pm - 7:00 pm  Fellowship & tea
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm  Reading & Discussion

The subject of study and discussion is Meher Baba's Discourses, which are available in print (e.g. at Meher Baba Books). The Discourses are also accessible online here:


Each week we will chronologically read a Discourse and discuss how it relates to our daily lives. Come join us and delve into Meher Baba's amazing Discourses like never before!
