As many of you know, there was a tragic drowning of a young man of 19 years old, at the Slatersville Reservoir last evening.

Our hearts go out to his family and friends.

 

We cannot stress enough that the reservoir is private property and is off limits to any swimming.  Please be reminded that the Police can only patrol so often to discourage young people from frequenting that location.

 

During this sad time, and always, we implore residents and others to stay away from that very deep and dangerous body of water.
