The Great Unfinished Business of our Time!

It is not a secret that I'm a big supporter of the Federation. Their unwavering commitment to helping people build a better future for themselves and their families has never ceased to amaze and inspire me.

So I hope you'll join me in supporting Federation.

I am proud to support this work that fights to give individuals and communities the chance to succeed; builds democratic ownership in rural communities; and most recently, their fight in helping Black, Hispanic and Women farmers settle an historic discrimination lawsuit that denied them equal access to USDA services.

Giving people access to the education, tools, and resources they need to live long and productive lives is an issue that is near and dear to me. It's why, through my support of the Federation, I am hoping to turn the tide on disadvantaged farmers in the South by investing in efforts that save black farms. And it is one of the many reasons why I support the Federation.

Just take a look at how the Federation's approach has impacted thousands of lives around the South.
  • Helping people gain access to housing and credit unions that keep wealth in their local communities.
  • Helping more than 5,000 rural farmers better provide for their families while also building sustainable cooperative businesses that uplift the entire community.
  • Planting longleaf pine trees through their Agroforestry Center that benefit both the environment and the economy.
  • Reaching hundreds of students, educators, parents, and businesses to provide leadership development training and scholarships to rural youth through the Sanfoka Project.
  • Operating a unique Rural Training and Research Center on a thousand acres near Epes, Alabama-providing training, demonstration plots as well as workshops in cooperative development.
The Federation doesn't just create a temporary solution, it fundamentally alters the way we approach the biggest challenges of our world, triggering change that helps people in the rural South build a better future.

Please join me in supporting the Federation and help continue to build the vision of a better world with a gift to the Federation of Southern Cooperatives Land Assistance Fund.

I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together.

Sincerely,

Danny Glover
