Are any of you skilled and entusiastic media instructors, or do you know anyone who is?
Following our mandate to offer free media education to our community, CUTV is launching a new initiative starting in the Winter semester, that will offer clusters of comprehensive workshops in media production to our members.
We are now accepting CVs from prospective facilitators to fill paid, bi-monthly freelance positions from January to May.
We are looking for enthusiastic, open, knowledgeable and community-oriented media professionals who are qualified and excited to lead workshops in various aspects of media creation.

ADOBE PREMIERE PRO
Proper footage archiving (server)
File types and importing/exporting
Timeline assembly and transitions
Film pacing/editing theory
Basic titles and typography
Sound editing
ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS
Color correction
Basic motion graphics
Visual effects editing
Masking and element isolation
Adjustment layers
LIGHTING & SCREEN SCREEN
Lighting theory for film
Lighting equipment handling and settings
Camera settings and calibration for lighting
Proper use of green screens
Lighting for green screen
Green screen editing in video editing programs
PRO-TOOLS + CUBASE / REAPER
Studio and instrument/equipment setup
Difference between recording mono and stereo
Types of mics (condenser, stereo mic, stereo takes, dynamic, etc.)
Setting up gain for recording
Mixing and loops
SCRIPTWRITING & STORYBOARDING
Script formatting
Camera shot and transition types
Storyboard formatting and templates
Basic visual indications for storyboards
This is a great opportunity to get paid experience, make new connections and help the CUTV community grow.
