Join the (r)evolution
Dear friends,

We want to thank you for your support this week - and to share with you, before anyone else, our newly minted 2012-13 Annual ReportThis one is very different from those we've put out in years past. Rather than focusing on statistics, we've packed it full of pictures and personal reflections, shared by a wide range of people in the Upstream Arts community. Click here to download a PDF and enjoy.

Moving into our eighth year, Upstream Arts continues to move forward on our organizational journey of creativity and--as one of teaching artists recently put it--"(r)evolution"! Recently we articulated three clear visions to guide our way, which we will pursue over the next five years:

1) We will keep working locally, but influence nationally. We want to change the conversation about the arts and people with disabilities in our communities.

2) We will expand our services to work with individuals with disabilities at every stage of life, from birth to retirement.

3) We will commit to keeping artists at the center of our workBy investing in them, we have created an organizational culture reflective of our beliefs and values.

We are ambitious because we understand our unique position in the community - rooted at the intersection of the arts, disability, and learning. Please make a donation to Upstream Arts now in honor of Give to the Max Day. In doing so, you are paving the way to a more vibrant and inclusive world.

Thank you for your belief and support!

Recently we've added some gorgeous new images to the exhibit at ArtReach, created by participants in "The Art of Me," our fall residency with Valley Friendship ClubTomorrow from 6-8pm, we'll throw a little party celebrating all this remarkable work - and we'd love to see you there! Click here for details.
