Fraser Fir Christmas Tree

Capital of the world!

Bob Barinowski has been raising and marketing Christmas trees on
his 30-acres in Banner Elk for more than 34-years. Veterans Day was
the first day of preparation for exporting the trees throughout America.
Bob explains the problem in keeping
Horney Hollow signs around town.
(Sorry, I accidentally cut off the "H" in Horney-Ron)

to take a photo of the Anderson family of Charlotte who have been
coming to Banner Elk to "choose and cut" their tree at Horney Hollow for
more than 20 years. -Ron
