The Way Forward: Federal Action for a System That Works for All People Living With SMI and SED and Their Families and Caregivers
The Interdepartmental Serious Mental Illness Coordinating Committee (ISMICC) has released a report detailing a plan for helping adults with serious mental illness (SMI) and children and youth with serious emotional disturbances (SED). The report includes current needs of individuals with these issues, advances in clinical care, as well as extensive recommendations for improving the way we address these challenges.

Adult Residential Facilities (ARFs) Stakeholder Meeting
With the passage of Assembly Bill 1688 (Chapter 511, Statutes 2017), the California Mental Health Planning Council is now the CALIFORNIA BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PLANNING COUNCIL (CBHPC) .

CBHPC will be holding an Adult Residential Facilities (ARFs) Stakeholder Meeting to address issues regarding housing continuum of care on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Woodland Public Library.

California’s official health insurance marketplace to shop for, compare, and enroll in health insurance is open through January 31st, 2018. Four out of five of those who have enrolled in Covered CA have qualified for financial help. Help us spread the word until every single member of our community is covered, for the sake of their physical and mental health!
