Wednesday June 20th 7:00pm
Ruth Mott:
I Love You, Now Get Over Yourself!
Join us for a fun get together with life coach Ruth Mott.
The three questions that begin any coaching session are Who Are You? What Do You Do? And Why Do You Do It? These questions seem deceptively simple to answer, but when you're talking to a good coach, they are not simple at all. Ruth will talk about how one has to think about and answer these questions, and then act on them.
This will be an interactive session and you are invited to bring your own questions for Ruth to answer.
Some of the most common questions people ask are: What is coaching? How does it work? Who needs coaching? What does "Get Over Yourself" really mean? Are leaders born or made? How is coaching different from mentoring or counseling?
It promises to be a lively session which will include some accounts of Ruth's most colorful coaching experiences.

Tuesday, June 19th 7:00pm Living with Lyme Disease Laura Piazza: Recipes for Repair And Katina Makris: Out of the Woods
After being diagnosed with Lyme disease, Laura Piazza wanted to learn as much as she could about the illness, so she read many books on the subject, including The Lyme Disease Solution. She was intrigued by the Lyme Inflammation DietŪ introduced by the book and wanted to give it a try. However, being accustomed to a dairy- and carbohydrate-rich diet (food groups not permitted until Phase 3), she hesitated.
Laura contacted Dr. Singleton to see if he had ever considered publishing a cookbook specific to his anti-inflammation diet. A few weeks later, she heard from him that he and his wife, a nutritionist, had been considering the exact same idea, even before receiving her letter. Many excited conversations followed, and the eventual outcome was Recipes for Repair: A Lyme Disease Cookbook.
A book of poetic beauty and compassionate understandings, Out of the Woods is a powerful story reflecting the inner turmoil of those struggling with chronic Lyme disease.
Reaching across the precipice of isolation and fear, and illuminating a pathway of hope, Out of the Woods opens the portal to the wellspring of personal healing power residing within us all, guiding us to the gifts of Spirit. Written by Classical Homeopath and Intuitive Healer, Katina I. Makris, from the vantage point of a patient, she shares invaluable knowledge on Lyme disease, lab tests, treatment options and full recovery at the mind-body level.
