AAHS students planted gardens alongside Booker T Washington basketball courts this spring during Toona Tuneup.

Throughout the summer, AAHS instructors Season Consiglio, Teresa Rubine and Robin DeShong tended to the garden.

The community was encouraged and welcome to share in the garden. Each garden carried a specific theme reaping vegetables, herbs and fruits.

The final “harvest” was taken from the garden this week.  Congratulations to those who contributed to tending the gardens throughout the summer.  The project was a success!
