Upcoming Autism Awareness Month Events
Light it up BLUE!
April is Autism Awareness Month! There are a number of upcoming events happening around the state, and we hope you have the opportunity to join the fun and show your support at one or more of these events!

Saturday, March 26th:  Anchorage
Autism Awareness Bookfair
All Ages, Free
Join the AARC for fun activities and performances at Barnes & Noble Bookstores. During these events, If you buy something and mention that you support the bookfair, Barnes & Noble will donate a percentage of the sale to the AARC. Proceeds will be used to buy two titles to give to libraries around the state.

Anchorage Rocks for Autism: Acoustic Series
21+, Free
Presented by Pioneer Bar and Family Tree, this event kicks off the 2016 Anchorage Rocks for Autism concert series. This event will be hosted by Mike Gorder, and feature The Eternal Cowboys and The Unfaithful Lovers.

Extravaganza for Autism
All Ages
$3 per person  or $15 for families up to 10 people

Enjoy games and door prizes while helping to raise awareness, learning about local service providers, and raising funds to help bring speakers to the Kenai Peninsula.

All ages show, $10 adv, $20 at the door
21+ show, $10 minimum donation
The all ages show features Tamerlane, All That Counts, Captain Overthrow, Atlas, Old Hounds, & Noise Brigade.
The 21+ show features The Moonracers, Dutchess, Hazia, The Quiet Cull, Transitions, Part Time Super Heros, City in Ashes, & Shifter

Join us to help raise awareness and enjoy a day of fun activities, healthy snacks, and door prizes! Local service providers will also be available to connect with families.

Join the Autism Society of Alaska for a day of fun!

The books of the month are available in the SESA Library. You may search the library on the  SESA website , or you may contact our Librarian, Anne Freitag, at  [email protected]  or  907 . 334 . 1301
