Weaving Together Freshwater Conservation and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Initiatives: Improving Biodiversity Conservation and Human Health
Featuring:

Janet Edmond

&

Colleen Vollberg
Freshwater and Biodiversity Policy Manager, Conservation International

ABCG and CI invite you a presentation on the findings of a recent paper examining the evidence base for how implementers have integrated Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and freshwater ecosystem conservation to date in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) and what they have learned in taking a more holistic approach. Conservation International (CI) in collaboration with ABCG members and development partners helped produce the paper in order to call attention to the benefits of integrating health and freshwater conservation efforts.  Colleen Vollberg and Janet Edmond will present the report findings.

Please join us on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at CI offices at 2011 Crystal Drive, Suite 500, Arlington, VA 22202.
