When Work and Family Needs Collide

Has your family faced a time when someone had to choose between a job and caring for a new baby or seriously ill family member?  Have you had an adult child, a partner or a close family member deployed in the military and could not get adequate time off to re-organize family responsibilities or share precious time together? IF so, the New York Paid Family Leave Insurance Campaign would like to hear from you.  This campaign is working with legislators to expand the New York Temporary Disability Insurance program to include paid family leave.  For more information or to share your story, go to http://citizenactionny.org/paidfamilyleave or call Blue Carreker at (518) 4668500 to share your story.  More information is also available at www.timetocareny.org
