Sou' Wester...

We've had a lot of requests for individual mailings sent this week.  Please excuse our combining items... but we don't want to bombard our membership with emails every day.  So... this week's Weekly Reader will also include the Sou' Wester download for April.  Thank you for being attentive to this inclusion.

April 12th is the monthly meetings for Social Advisory Committee and the Race Management Committee.  If you're interested in volunteering at ABYC, these are the two groups you want to contact. Time is of YOUR choosing and both committees can always use member's help. Just show up at ABYC by 7pm on the 12th and we'll set you up for a great time helping ABYC Be The Place to Be!

Friendly Reminder Members:

The 2017 CISA clinic is coming up on April 8th through the 11th, and CISA organizers have asked if we might be able to recruit a few ABYC volunteers to help the morning of Saturday the 8th and the afternoon of Tuesday the 11th, to assist in directing the flow of incoming and outgoing traffic in the yard.

Additionally, they are still looking for housing for many of the out-of-town sailors.

If any ABYC members are interested in volunteering, or hosting a sailor, please contact Danielle Richards at 619-255-0083, or via e-mail at
