| 18Th Annual Users' Conference a Huge Success! |
 The Users' Conference was a great success with 60 customers enjoying 3-days in Manhattan Kansas.
With 25 sessions, networking activities and time with techs, people were busy from morning until night.
The food must have been good as the only complaint I heard was we were "making them fat."
Of course, we all learned a lot from the attendees as well. Knowledge that goes into our Student Manager and NxT development.

| Student Manager 8 Coming May 15th |
 Student Manager 8 was announced and shown at the Users' Conference last month and is slated to be released at the beginning of June.
New features announced include a new search tool (very cool), a new quick reports feature that allows you to access your favorite report/query combos from a menu, and numerous smaller enhancements.
One of the major changes is the availability of a SQL version of Student Manager for those program wanting to or needing to more to SQL. The standard version and the SQL version of Student Manager both look the same.

| ACEweb 4.0 Released Soon |

Along with the release of Student Manager 8.0, will be a new release of ACEweb. The new ACEweb 4.0 will have new features and be designed to work with version 8 of Student Manager.

| New ACEware Champion Educators Award |
 ACEware has created a new award to honor the individual users of our software. This award honors those users for innovative, extensive, and extraordinary use of ACEware software in support of their programs.
These ACEs represent some of the great talent we see in community and continuing education program across the country and we want to share their successes with our entire customer network.
This years recipients are:

- Martin Malpica, University of Central Florida

| Matthew to Present at Southwest Fox Conference |
 Mathew was just selected to present at the Southwest Fox Conference in Gilbert, Arizona on October 16th & 17th.
This conference attracts many elite FoxPro programmers include many who have won Microsoft's Visual FoxPro's MVP Award and Lifetime Achievement awards.
Matthew will be do two presentations while at the conference: Manipulating Data With WestWind's Business Objects and WYSIWYG HTML Editing With VFP.

| Looking for Volunteers |
 Lauri is looking for volunteers to work on a new project with benefits for all Student Manager users and programs.
This group is going to work on creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for many of the common tasks within Student Manager. Basically, making a reference list of the best/quickest/fastest way to do things in the software.
The group will meet electronically and via email. What's in it for you? Recognition, a chance to help other users, and a great opportunity to get to know Student Manager more in-depth.
