StormBasin Cartridge Filter Insert accepted by PA DEP
StormBasin by FABCO Industries accepted for water quality treatment .
Recently, the Pennsylvania DEP approved the StormBasin by Fabco Industries. ACF serves as a proud distributor along the east coast for FABCO and worked hard to secure this approval as a new alternative in the market. The StormBasin provides under chapter 6.6.4 - Water Quality Filters for 80% TSS, 60%P and 40%N. Therefore, this provides engineers, designers and municipalities a great low cost, high performance solution that can be inserted in both new and existing drainage infrastructure retrofits.

TX160 to the Rescue!
Plecker Construction of Staunton, VA found some soft soils unavoidable early summer during the construction of Cassell Elementary School in Waynesboro, Virginia. With a recommendation from Froehling and Robertston, Tensar's TX160 with 12" of 21Bs and this parking area came to life. Tensar's  triaxial geogrids can be real project savers in unexpected conditions. Cassell Elementary will open in the fall of 17. Contact your local ACF representative for more information.
Thinking Outside of the Tank
ACF completed an R-Tank install with Tierra Construction Services at Adaire Elementary in Philadelphia, PA. There were 1,020 HD Double R-Tanks installed. With the help from ACF Senior Stormwater Engineer, Rob Woodman, ACF thought outside of the typical non-woven geotextiles and deployed a microgrid wrap around the tanks utilizing it as a clog proof alternative.
