EU Parliament approves deal on sharing air passenger data after militant attacks
The European Parliament gave final approval on Thursday to an exchange of airline passenger data between security forces in the European Union, ending a stand-off between privacy advocates and those who consider the move crucial to fighting terrorism.

Dublin Airport outlines plans to transform the arrivals hall in Terminal 1
Dublin Airport, which only last week confirmed its intention to open a new runway in 2020, has announced that it is to invest €10 million on transforming the Arrivals Hall and façade of Terminal 1.

Vilnius Airport in Lithuania has been awarded Airport Council International's (ACI) Level 1 Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) certificate in Mapping in recognition of its efforts to monitor its carbon footprint.

WH Smith wins Düsseldorf contract to operate five news and books units
WH Smith will enter the market in Germany for the first time having won a contract to operate five news and books retail spaces at Düsseldorf Airport.
The first opening is planned for October 2016 in the former Lufthansa Worldshop, in check-in area A. The remaining four spaces, which were previously operated by LS Travel Retail under the brands Virgin and Relay, will follow in 2017.
