Dr. Drew Anderson
Class of 2014
October 13, 1986 - August 18, 2016

Drew Anderson VT Class of 2014
Drew, age 29, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016, after a seizure at his home in Sedona, Arizona. His funeral service was August 26, 2016 at Greer's Mortuary; his cremains remain with his family in
Sedona.

Drew was born October 13, 1986 in Livingston, New Jersey, to Tim and Heidi Anderson. The second of three
boys, he leaves behind brothers Nathan and Tyler, his parents, and his 12-year-old kitties, Gracie and Boofa.

As a child Drew was a sweet, quiet boy. He would always let his brothers' big personalities take center stage.
In the years that followed, he never lost that sweetness and kindness of spirit for his fellow man and animals.

Drew attended Oak View Elementary School in Bloomfield, New Jersey before his family's move to Switzerland where, for three years, he attended the International School of Basel. Returning stateside to Ann Arbor, Michigan, he graduated in 2005 from Greenhills School. He earned two academic degrees, a BS in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2009 and a PharmD from ACPHS, Vermont Campus in 2014, having chosen pharmacy as his profession.

From childhood Drew was driven to discover how things worked and to understand the interrelationship between them, ranging from garbage trucks and garbage men as a child to the world of nature and physiology of the human body as an adult. He was passionate about aviation and weather, how the two related to one another, and had set up computer programs monitoring both that he studied daily. His love of hockey and
support of the New Jersey Devils was a constant from his time as a child living in Bloomfield. As an adult, his love of politics and Michael Smerconish led to regular discussions and many who knew him will miss learning from his political insight.
Drew would be honored by any remembrance made in his name to the Humane Society of Sedona, humanesocietyofsedona.org.

Our hearts and lives are forever changed by this wonderful soft-spoken, humble man. His gentle, caring demeanor, his satirical wit and delightful retorts, his intelligence, compassion, and sweet smile will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
